An aptly titled album. Imagine a coming of age Patty Smith with a dash of Laurie Anderson and you might have some idea of what's going on here.
Best of 2013.
For those of you just joining Jenny Hval, Viscera is much better.
My rating for this will only go up in time.. But for now, it's a beautiful album. I hope everyone here listens to this album within the year.
There's some pretty interesting moments and others not so much. I think stylistically it is a bit too scattershot to really get into as a whole, but there are some tracks worth repeated listens.
