Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.5/100, a mean average of 71.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.1.

The Weight of Your Love takes the new wave-inspired post-punk sound from Editors' third album and refines it for a more structured sound. "A Ton of Love" and "What Is This Thing Called Love" are among the best tracks ever recorded by the band; so majestic and beautiful at the same time. The best tracks on the album are successful attempts at embracing this slightly different Editors sound, while the other tracks remain forgettably average. This is the type of natural evolution you would expect a band like Editors to achieve; it feels mature while embracing some of the best elements of the band's original sound.
By far their best
Get the deluxe ed. - the bonus CD is excellent
Good commercial album, many catchy songs, but always with quality.
Reminds me a bit of Depeche Mode.
I love this album, I love all the Editors albums. Quite an underrated band I feel. This album is fresh and a return to their more rock sound they had on their first 2 albums. Sugar, The Weight, Hyena and Ton Of Love are my favourites.
One of my very favourites of 2013.
Pas le meilleur de Editors..
