Not as great as their previous album but still very good.
Favourite tracks: No Harm, Life Is a Fear, Ocean of Night, Salvation.

Finally shaking off the last remnants of post-punk from their music, Editors have now become a fully-fledged new wave band, churning pop-rock songs with a modern beat. The guitars are completely gone and with them the dark and haunting melodies of The Back Room. Instead, we are given endless synthesizer loops and repetitive melodies that result in barely memorable songs. Editors now sound like Hurts.
This development in the band's sound lead sat best into perfectly suitable pop tunes, like "Forgiveness" and at worst into some bizarre attempts top mix the band's old sound with the new, on tracks like "No Harm" and "Salvation". Then there are songs I barely want to mention, like the horrible "Life Is A Fear".
There are also some fine soul elements present on the album, such as in one of the stronger songs, "All The Kings". Those small influences are the best things this album has to offer.
Less successful of the previous, but with a more refined sound. No Harm is really a great song.
