Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.4/100, a mean average of 76.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.2.

Solid album but pretty average compared to the brilliant proceeding three records
Very fun album. The production is top notch and innovative, but it still has a cool oldschool feel to it. If you like rap, this album/group is worth checking out.
One of the best rap albums I have heard since the late 80s early 90s. I never even heard of Run the Jewels (mainly because I gave up on rap years ago) until I found them on this site so I gave it a spin. It absolutely blew me away like the first time I heard Public Enemy

All good, some great lyrics too!
This is one of the best modern rap albums I have heard. The two rappers flow so well together. It's easy to listen to again and again.
Nothing bad! Some good, too.

A solid and consistent album, except for the low point of Twin Hype Back and high point of Christmas Fucking Miracle.

The songs individually are pretty good, with "A Christmas Fucking Miracle" as my favorite, but as an album, it could do better.
An incredibly enjoyable delve into the industrial hip-hop world with the two great rap talents known as Killer Mike and El-P. The production is more than decent as is the flow of both rappers. The remixes towards the end aren't particularly necessary yet there are still some memorable tunes such as 36 inch chain, Get It and A Christmas Fucking Miracle (the latter being one of the best hip-hop songs i have heard recently). Already really looking forward to this record's sequel this year.
A collaboration that was destined to happen after El's work on Mike's album. Easily one of the best rap albums of the year. Very interested to see how the sequel compliments it
