After many years of knowing, loving and practically hero-worshipping Stevie Wonder, it’s only been the last year or so I’ve gone back from the beginning of his discography and listened to all of the records and material I hadn’t previously listened to. This album being one of them.
Don’t be like me and sleep on this album for years and years haha.
Through compilations and hits collections, I’ve known and loved about a quarter of this album already, the opening title-track being one of the great pop/soul songs of the 60’s. But there are overlooked gems here like I’d Be A Fool Right Now and Ain’t No Lovin’ that showcase Stevie’s ever-growing writing and singing to accompany the handful of great singles that ultimately do end up front-loading the album a bit.

Stevies song-making and singing abilities start to show in full bloom. Strong and solid his best 60's album definetely

Stevie's best album from the 60's , the title track, Shoo Be Doo & I Don't Know Why being the stand out tracks. I'd Be A Fool.., You Met Your Match & I'm More Than Happy are also great tracks. The last 4 tracks however drag the album down to 80/100.
Really good...especially loved the track ‘I Don’t Know Why’.
