Excellent late eighties album from two very underrated musicians. (Edited)
Stand out tracks "Sowing the seeds of love" and "Year of the knife".
Beautiful album. Great themes. Great production. Great songs.

Weakest track: "Badman's Song"
I really hate this album. The Hurting and Songs from the Big Chair are such amazing albums, this one does nothing for me. It was still a big hit back in the day, just not on my play list (Edited)
Overlooked record I know have in my collection, amazing.
Better than other albums, I think some songs drag for too long. Whatever this deserves more
A very underrated album, I think it gets far too much stick. Although I find some tracks to be weak, side 1 is superb and "Woman in Chains" and "Sowing the Seeds of Love" are among my favourite songs of all time.
Find this album underrated, it's a really good. I must be in the minority here who views this album in a positive way. Favorite tracks are Badman's Song, Sowing The Seeds Of Love, Advice For The Young At Heart, Year Of The Knife, and Famous Last Words
