There is a certain listening space for this record where it unendingly delivers. In that regard it is amazing. Only "Paracosm" is a standout track that I have listened to unquenchably, the rest are stylistically great but never groundbreaking. I like it better than "Within and Without" due to better production choices (specifically bringing back the reverb-heavy vocals that are more buried in the mix), the more upbeat tone, and the pacing.

Feel-good, dreamy, summtertime sound that always makes for an enjoyable listen.
While not by any means a fantastic album, Paracosm does do a very good job of evoking a certian feeling, one of dream-like stupor, and that more than makes up for most of its shortcomings.
