I totally agree with you,Bork. It's not bad. It's all listeanable, but you're right. There are no interesting songs here. Really,there's nothing essential of theirs after Pinkerton. Rivers Cuomo decided medocre was the artistic height he was willing to reach for from here on.

I guess telling someone this album=high school for me is a bad idea (someone disliked my comment stating such).
Possibly the best pop/geek rock ever written (most of the album). But then the kickass track of hashpipe too. Great come back of a band greatly part of my identity growing up.

A great album, this is probably my second favorite by them. A return to their Blue Album sound, great songs.

This album isn't bad, but it's not ANYWHERE near as mind-blowing as Pinkerton or the Blue Album

This is completely banal, odd and off to me. Seems to me that there are four bands in particular that are highly overrated:
1-2) Yes and Genesis within prog rock.
3-4) Weezer and Green Day for their pop punk rock.
