Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 60.8/100, a mean average of 59.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 59.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.1.

A lot of cringey bars but this album is so iconic to me. I'm biased because it's one of the first album I listened to from start to bottom. Love She Will, How to love, John and Mirrors.

Most solid work of Wayne if you ask me. The beats do their job and Wayne's flow is consistently satisfying. And it's full of "haha that's clever... wait, that didn't make sense" wordplay we know and love from the dropout genius. A brain that makes connections in all directions but no knowledge to make them make sense. Not that he wants to, not that he should. Only talentless neanderthals in suits equate knowledge to intelligence and good lyrics to musical talent, which are exactly the people who tend to hate hip hop. That you don't get this one is forgiven though; Lil Wayne is not where you should start with hip hop.

To clarify, it's supposed to sound "god-awful" to people who haven't gotten the memo. Which was basically the point of rock 'n' roll too.
