As with many of a record company's product aimed at a budget conscious audience, the offering on "Time Pieces" is majorly limited- one only gets 11 selections from an already diverse Clapton career - and the compiler dips into Clapton's Derek and the Dominos catalog for the clearly spectacular "Layla". This album would have been more intriguing if it were fleshed out with some additional selections. I can't argue with what's here, my contention is with what is NOT. Still as a mere taste of Clapton this one is a decent ear full.
