I first saw Langhorne Slim live at the Wakarusa Music Festival in the Ozarks, and at the time I thought he was one of the best artists I saw there--an energetic, sweaty performance that was perfect for a hot day in Arkansas. On this appealingly ragged collection of folky troubadour ballads, Langhorne Slim brings together some of his most passionate songs to date, headed by the fantastic "Land of Dreams."
