Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Great album from Kashmir. Maybe their last altogether as the drummer has gone solo, and the lead singer is now a full time painter. Never the less it's a great last album, as Kashmir took a step back from the pop-orientated music on Tresspassers and went down a more experimental path with strong influences from Kraftwerk. An album with many different elements and great songs and performances.
