What I consider the greatest danish folk-rock album. The Rumour Said Fire sound very influenced by Simon & Garfunkel and other 60s folk-rock acts, but they have their own unique passion and energy. A beautiful, gorgeous journey.

My introduction to Elbow. "Open Arms" was the song that made me meet the album with... open arms! "The Birds" is a fantastic 8 minute long proggy opener and it doesn't get stale after that.

Figurines shake things up again. There's something theatrical about it. It's very poppy, yet slightly challenging. Once again, very different from previous Figurines albums. A musical pleasure.

Drift along with this moon stream if you're out for some dreamy night music. The 60s folk-rock influences from the debut album seem to have vanished almost entirely in favour of new wave elements and 80s synths, but frontman Jesper Lidang's intense and passionate voice is intact. With its gothic night visions, it could easily be labelled 2010s' sequel to Echo & the Bunnymen's "Ocean Rain"!

Kashmir deliver the goods once again, even after a five years pause since last album release. Opener and lead single "Mouthful of Wasps" shows that Kashmir again crave for epicness with a chorus concluding with the lyrics "Time is up, so let them all fly up in the sky". This tone persists throughout the entire album ending with the gorgeous string outro of "The Indian (That Dwells in This Chest)".

Facing the sun with the psychedelic pop collective, Treefight for Sunlight. Significant 1960s baroque pop influences and sunny visions lead to one of the greatest danish summer soundtracks ever with plenty of good vibrations to pick up!

The take off and landing of everything that is Elbow. I mean, Elbow both stick to their great well-established sound, but also moves in a slightly new direction, something even proggier and textural than previous album "Build a Rocket Boys". Overall, it's still the familiar sound of one big, warm hug!
