I do love this album. But just can't believe it's nearly 20 years old. Got some classic Nas tracks. You can't go wrong with someone like Nas going over the top of Apache.
Love this album. I actually love "I Can". It's one of the main reasons why I love Nas. He takes those risks that can make him seem corny to some, but you can't deny that it comes from a good place. From the choice of words and delivery you can tell he wrote that song for kids. I was 5th grade when I first heard that song, and I loved it. Still do because of the nostalgia

While this is a great album, I find that I Can grates after awhile...
Everything Nas does gets unfairly compared to Illmatic. Everyone knows this. It shouldn't impair your enjoyment of what is a truly great album.
