A wonderful album that serves as a midpoint between Prisoner and Synthia.A midpoint some would say was weak for The Jezabels. I disagree.
This album explores relationships and mental illness through lyrics that are paired with music that's easy to listen to. The combination of minimalist synthetic instrumentation and understated guitar help create songs full of hooks. This album is catchy and occasionally achieves moments of great beauty.
Top songs are "Time to Dance", "Beat to Beat", and "The End"
There aren't any bad songs here but "Psychotherapy" is perhaps the weakest.
