This is country pop. It's a tad cornball at times but there's enough authentic emotion-driven content that drives sincerity to the ears first. I think i was still high on Kacey Musgraves fumes; but regardless, there's some good songwriting on this album with just enough dashes of sincerity and fun (and a little schmaltz, but not much thankfully) to make it an enjoyable country music album.
