Overlong and riddled with meta references and snarky nudge-nudge lines that could only come from a young songwriter, it's actually a pretty decent album, mainly cause the songcraft is overall catchy enough but not quite as conservatively cliqued as most of the endless onslaught of emo albums in the early 00's were. Also benefits from (very slightly) more diverse compositions than the usual left-side-of-the-fret power chords for which most emo bands of the time felt incapable of doing anything else.
