Can’t believe this wonderful album hasn’t been added to this site until now some 6 years post release (2020)
Remember Sports is essentially the project of Carmen Perry with this album initially recorded for friends and family before being picked up by a label
‘Sunchokes’ is a blink and you’ll miss it affair with its 8 tracks clocking in at 20 minutes and containing 4 tracks which are 2 minutes or under. The album is a perfect blend of power pop and teenage angst which demonstrates a maturity well beyond Perry’s tender years at the time of recording
Footnote: this album was originally recorded under the band name “SPORTS” before changing their name to “REMEMBER SPORTS “ soon after
