The Reivers (Formerly Zeitgeist) put out this debut album which I discovered a few years later right after they'd disbanded. It is hard to categorize this extremely literary, impressionistic cowboy jangle pop; so why try? I love this album. I love Kim and John's voices and the woe-woes and boh-dah-bohs. John's writing painted incredible pictures without specificity. They are lyrics to be studied or to float in the background. They are real poetry.
