The album' average rating is 62, while the tracks' is 80. I haven't listened to the whole album, but what I get from those numbers is that it seems to get way more hate than it truly deserves.

Another great album from MJ. A bit of the same stuff again, but I’m not in the least sad this exists. (Edited)
This album is the most important album in my life it is what made me fall in love with exploring an album. It was my first album I ever bought it has no flaws in my broken eyes it is perfect. (Edited)

Very underrated indeed. It has some down points, particularly on the second half, but it has many many bangers. The first 4 songs are pretty good, then of course we have "You Rock My World" and "Butterflies". Then it kinda drops for me after "Speechless", but the closing two tracks "Whatever Happens" and "Threatened" are spectacular. Of course, this album was famously boycotted by Sony, but I also think that if it had a few less songs, maybe it would feel more compact.
HOWEVER, MJ's albums are pretty underrated on this site as a whole. (Edited)
