A stunning album to my ears, as far from "banal" as can be. Beautiful and imaginative, just plain fun to listen to. The craftsmanship is dazzling. Top-shelf Krautrock.
As it happens with a lot of these albums, some of these pristine musical experiments are pretty banal and some are inspired and beautiful (Two Oldtimers). Often quite funny as well, despite the clean, almost scientific, approach to making music.
