Lots of the same, fun but quite uneven to my eardrums. Just not for me,
The first Album I ever owned. Received as a Christmas present at the age of 11. Loved it then and love it now. Hadn’t listened it for man years and recently revisited it. In my opinion Madness best ? just ahead of One Step Beyond. Other than Solid Gone I love most of the songs on here. Baggy Trousers and Embarrassment are stand out tracks but the rest aren’t just fillers. Other songs of note are Take It Or Leave It, Not Home Today, Shadow Of Feam and In The rain. Highly recommend this Album.
All killer no filler. To me, the last great Madness album
As with all Madness albums the singles are the best. The other tracks just simply don't compare with the likes of, Baggy trousers, Embarrassment, and, Return of the lost Palmas 7. Still, not bad album.
