The former lead vocalist of Duran Duran (he was gone before they became international successes) and many other British synth bands released his own solo album in 1985. Duffy collaborated with many similar minded Brits on this album (most notably from The Art Of Noise) and churned out his most popular singles - "Kiss Me" and "Icing On The Cake". A great dose of 80s pop.

The album containing (probably) his most popular tracks Kiss Me and Icing On The Cake. 80's pop with a bit of synth (JJ Jeczalik from Art of Noise was involved) to a piano led Wednesday Jones. An abridged version of Masterpiece could have been as good as the hits and Be There is good too. Quite different from his later work with The Lilac Time but, for me, this is still an enjoyable album ti listen to now.
