This release had more input from other members of the band (other than Tedeschi and Trucks). Mike Mattison sings lead on 2 or 3 songs. Kofi Burbridge contributes more flute. With this release, Tedeschi Trucks Band continues to move more toward progressive rock. There's soul here too. Lots of horns, plus the flute. It's a really good album, but I wish they'd play more blues. Artists have to do what they're compelled to do.

This might be their best so far. Really opened up for the trumpets, Derek Trucks' heavenly guitar play is less prominent with respect to their previous albums, but still present when it needs to.
