Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 43.6/100, a mean average of 29.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 29.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 26.3.

While his first album truly provided the blueprint for '10s trap, on this album you can really feel all the big names of the '10s taking a peek. Future's and Waka Flocka's high violence on the opening tracks; Young Thug's anti-melody on "Turn My Swag On"; Migos' static repetitiveness on "Gucci Bandana". Some tracks - most obviously on "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" - should probably be called proto-hyperpop.
No, I didn't think some 18-year old bigmouth would be able to influence a generation, but I don't ask questions; I just listen to the music. But seeing his initricate PR stunts, I am at least sure that it isn't a stroke of luck; he knows exactly what he's doing.
Wish I could rate this a 0/100, but it won't let me...
I got up out of bed! Turned mah swag on! And then I punched soulja boi in the face!
This isn't rapping, it's whining, put to background noise that makes it impossible to listen to. I can't believe this passes for music now, let alone, that people would purchase it or praise.
I would say that I'd rather hear the sound of throwing up, but apparently, BrokeNCYDE took care of that.

Despite it's lack of commercial success, this is a pretty worthy successor to Soulja Boy's "so-bad-it's-good" ethos. There's a little bit more production value here, but he still seems like an innocent 16-year-old boy.
