Underrated Chilis album. My third favourite. Impressive that even without Frusciante they produced some great guitar riffs and it is unmistakably a Chilis album. Klinghoffer stepped in very capably. My favourites are Dark Necessities, Dreams of a Samurai and The Getaway.

I came back to listen to RHCP thanks to this record. Very good. Dark necessites is my favorite!

On behalf of Anthony Kiedis and Flea, fuck everyone who doesn't like this album or this band. There have always been detractors of RHCP, always will be, it seems. Lots of us think the old boys are repping great rock just fine, here.

A solid follow up to I'm With You the new lineup takes things further. They have some really catchy stuff like Go Robot. Check out Dreams of A Samurai this album ends with a bang.

This album give me mixed feelings!
Red Hot put completely aside the rock but what does that matter when we are in the presence of one of the best albums of this historic band?

I absolutely love this album

It's early days yet but at the moment this is my favourite album by the rhcp

Time will tell whether it's a laster but this has not been off my iPod since it was released about a month ago

It has the same laid back feel like "by the way" - which up to about a week ago had been my favourite rhcp album since its release back in my long distant youth

I did not like some of the production instantly , it didn't feel in my face enough for a rhcp album - but after a few listens I was hooked and couldn't remember what I'd disliked about it ??

Great tunes - great album
