Unreliable, but with some fanatic and fantastic work. I'm looking forward to getting to grips with the earlier albums that I missed.

Now I'm hearing Modern Lovers as well...
I could never get into his Bandcamp work due to the lo-fi sound, but after hearing Teens of Denial and now Twin Fantasy (Face to Face) I have no doubt that Will Toledo is the future.
Amazing songwriting, but they're very comfortable in their indie aesthetic. That's the appeal, I guess. It's great 2010's rock and roll.

In the span of about a month I've went from thinking they were just another generic indie rock band to realizing that Will Toledo is quite possibly the greatest songwriter of the past ten years. Teens Of Denial is alright but not great, but Twin Fantasy and Nervous Young Man are absolute masterpieces.
