Deftones ratings
Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist is rated in the top 3% of all artists on BestEverAlbums.com. This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 80.5/100, a mean average of 79.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.4/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 17.1.

Seriously everyone's blinded by a timeline coincidence. Deftones are not Nu-metal if Korn never hit it big this band would be considered a post hardcore band but bad timing and associated tours screwed their reputation.
Amazing band with substantial work leaving a mark on several younger bands. The perfect balance of heavy rock and melodic ambiance. (Edited)

One of my favorite bands of all time.
Not exactly all of their albums are great and consistent but they're definitely worth the listen
ALBUMS FROM BEST TO WORST (MY OPINION)
1. Koi No Yokan
2. Around The Fur
(NOTE: NOT MUCH OF A GAP BETWEEN 2 AND 3)
3. White Pony
4. Adrenaline
5. Saturday Night Wrist
6. Diamond Eyes
7. Deftones (Edited)
At first I was getting kind of a headache on their heavier tracks probably because of the unusual production. However the band grew on me and now I'm greatly impressed by their content. White Pony classifies as one of the best alternative metal albums for me, maybe even the best, together with FNM's Angel Dust. They are also fairly consistent, however White Pony is one of the best mix of being heavy and artsy at the same time. Mindblowing. (Edited)
Brilliant band. They bring metal to an entirely new creative genre. You can have awesome heavy tracks mixed with beautiful songs on one album. For me they are one of the best metals bands ever! (Edited)

8. Adrenaline
Highly consistent in my opinion. (Edited)
