A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. I love this list! Doolittle and Remain in Light are fantastic albums, and The Field Mice and The Bats are bands I liked during the eighties that I've been rediscovering only recently. So much great stuff here, thanks for sharing!

21 albums in common is a pretty good result. The three records I'd been unfamiliar with in your Top Ten (Bats, Orange Juice and Field Mice) are all fantastic, so I guess your Top Ten may be among the best Top Tens on this site. Great job !
