A bleak, dystopian, George Orwell-inspired concept album with an impeccable flow, it contains some of Bowie's greatest music. Let's mention the excellent guitar work (all parts but one played by Bowie , who also produced the album himself).

The "Lost Weekend" album. A drunken, loutish, misbehaving, enstranged-from-Yoko, and more-insecure-than-ever Lennon suddenly sobers up and records this excellent and haunting collection of finely arranged songs, while keeping their intrinsic rawness thanks to his exceptionnal singing.
