This chart represents an outstanding balance between internationally and universally acclaimed records (Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, for example) and those from your native Ireland (These Songs Hate You, as one particularly interesting example). I really like to have locally great music brought to be attention, as it's a really fun way to be introduced to new things. Thanks for the sharing this excellent chart!

Chuffed to see you've got A Country Life in this list, Pat. Ginnels are superb - one of my favourite indie-pop albums for a while.

Thanks! I actually had descriptions but for some reason I deleted them all... Cannot remember why... I've still got a lot of finishing touches to put to this, there's like 20 more Irish albums I want to add to site once I'm on Christmas holidays!

Good chart, would have loved to see some descriptions though. A few albums took me by surprise, and I'm pretty interested in the more obscure albums that you've put on here.

I'd like to go into detail, but just go to my 2014 list and pick out whichever seems interesting (given I finish descriptions of them). Though I am 99.9% sure you'll love the new Ray LaMontague record at the very least.

Check out It's Album Time by Todd Terje.

Some nice easy-listening nu-disco that is light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously :)
