Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by DanielNunes93
This is the first time I’m doing a top of Greatest Music Albums and are probably one of hardest choice I had to make. I chose the albums based on my ratings higher, which are always changing, so are many albums who deserved to be here but are not.
I'm permanently discovering new stuff, especially on rock and metal, but I using this site to discovery other genres so fell free to make suggestions (I appreciate that) to other bands, albums or genres do you think indispensable.
Anyways, I hope do you enjoy it!

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 77.9/100, a mean average of 74.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.0/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 18.4.

Ficaste ofendido. Se calhar dei pouco. Já emendei.
Perhaps could do with a little bit of diversification, but I suppose music is subjective and my own chart could probably do with some more diversity. Appreciated variety in nationalities compared to the average chart.
Thanks for the 40% by the way. I can see screaming into a microphone, getting yelled at, and loud distorted guitars holds a dear place in your heart. Can anyone deny such variation and diversity in metal where ever song sounds so different from another?
I think maybe there's a little too much focus on metal and post-hardcore but at least you admit that in the bio! If you're looking for something a little different but still in this ball park I'd recommend the post-hardcoreish strand of post-rock, I think you might like the albums Spiderland by Slint and Rusty by Rodan :)
Interessante material! Acho que vale uma pesquisa. Dos discos portuguêses que vc cita, conheço Capitão Fausto
Interesting picks. Not such a fan of Franz Ferdinand though.
I would have shrugged and accepted you rating my chart a 20/100 but your smart-arse comment came across as unnecessarily petulant.
Such wit
Will check Underoath out, otherwise pretty good list
Who are Underoath? Rating depends on it very much, so I'll rate the chart again when I listen to them. Number one is the real thing, love Megadeth although that's not my favourite by them... Also way too much 2010s and 00s for my taste, but that's ok if you like it
