Right now Franz Ferdinand couldn't write a filler even if they wanted to and this album is all killer with each cut a potential single. Not straying from the winning formula they perfected in 2004 i.e.(Blondie + Talking Heads x 1979) the album is a timely reminder of how lucky we are to have them around.

This is a great album that sees Franz Ferdinand return to their older sound (not that Tonight was bad). Impossible not to cheer up when listening to this. I was a bit disappointed by Stand on the Horizon, though. It sounded much better live (but this version is slowly growing on me)
Good album. But its songs are just good enough to be described as "good". It really seems like Franz Ferdinand doesn't succeed in finding back the brillance of their first album and taking the step that might turn them into one of today's greatest rock bands. FF keeps its identity album to album, you can still hear their style, but they can't change it and it feels like they are prisonners of this style. However, this is definitely their best album after their first one. No real weak moment here.

It's not the best FF album, and even it's not an outstanding album, but it's pretty decent, it has a good sounding , the highlights for me are "Evely Eye", "Love Illumination" (i think it's the best song), "Bullet" but the others are quite good also, it's true that there's no really bad song. It worths listen once at least, and if you buy the album, buy the 2cd deluxe edition version, i like the style of it :)
Good album, not any incredible songs, but some nice ones indeed.
