"For a guy who plays the piano, this debut has precious little of that instrument...and that's a good thing. This is power pop at it's finest. The songs are catchy but deep and Joe's sarcastic flare was never better. I remember hearing this album for the first time a few months after "Night and Da..."  [+]  Reply

"The progression we needed from travis, not as bloated and self indulgent as rodeo while retaining its experimentality, bangers, and its perfect utilization of features, moreover it harks back to the darker nature of days before rodeo while keeping the songs sleek like on birds in the trap, only s..."  [+]  Reply

"Sorry to those who love the Killers, but to me, they're repeating the same formula over and over again. I don't see how this sounds any different than Hot Fuss or Sam's Town... In fact, it's the same stuff, without the memorable hooks. I suppose it's listenable, but there's much better music that..."  [+]  Reply

"Sampha is great. Done with hiding behind other commercial acts (Kanye, Solange, Frank Ocean) ghost writing and producing, he's now in the open on his own. It's pretty clear to me now he was the genius behind Solange's hit (and one of the best songs from last year) "Don't Touch My Hair" This thing..."  [+]  Reply

"I think the first record by Buffalo Springfield is their finest. It's a fiery, collaborative effort by a true supergroup. As a Neil Young fan, I'm pleased with his originals here. They are bittersweet, catchy and cryptic. Stills' songs are complimentary. They are sweet, straightforward and fun. I..."  [+]  Reply

"The first half of this album is absolute dynamite. Unfortunately it really drops off with the last 6 tracks, specifically the two shortest tracks Renholder and Over which don't really offer anything. 3 Libras is a beautiful beautiful song, it will really speak to anyone who's been in the position..."  [+]  Reply

"She Don't Use Jelly is a great track. But there's so much more to this album. Great throughout. Jelly is probably in the lower half of songs on this album. Be My Head is a personal favourite. Why isn't this in the top 1000?"  Reply
