Tiene todo lo que me agrada de Pink Floyd, guitarras asombrosas por parte de Gilmour, Waters y sus lineas de bajo magistrales, momentos epicos donde viajas a través de la música y psicodelia, un album practicamente perfecto en todos los sentidos.

Este es uno de esos discos diseñados para escucharse completamente, es imposible escuchar una canción sin querer escuchar el resto, simplemente se siente incompleto si no lo haces. Es un album que me fascina lirica y musicalmente, una experiencia musical sin igual.

El segundo disco que escuché de esta magnifica banda, si bien Aqualung me pareció bastante bueno, Thick As a Brick me mostró que esta es una banda que merece mucho más aprecio del que posee, con un Ian Anderson excepcional en guitarra y flauta y Jeffrey Hammond con líneas de bajo asombrosas y una historia fenomenalmente contada a lo largo de una épica cancíon dividida en dos partes.

Crecí escuchando estás canciones que me forjaron de manera significativa musicalmente hablando. Todos los temas se convirtieron en clásicos, John Paul Jones brilla tanto en bajo como teclados, Page creando uno de las canciones más reconocidas de la historia, y una banda provando el porque están en la cúspide de la historia del rock.

Fue el primer disco de Pink Floyd que escuché en mi vida y en mi adolescencia no dejaba de escucharlo, es asombroso en todo sentido aunque me inclinaria por el maravilloso trabajo de guitarra de David Gilmour, simplemente me fascina.

Sin lugar a dudas puedo decir que tiene la mejor apertura y cierre que cualquier album desearía tener, con una épica Baba O'riley y sus sintetizadores anunciando una epicidad que nos llevaría a la cúspide del disco cerrando con la otra obra maestra Won't Get Fooled Again.

El penúltimo disco en grabarse pero el último en publicarse.

El genio musical de Bowie es algo que nadie puede negar, y este álbum es la cumbre del Glam Rock narrando la historia de Ziggy (un extraterrestre bisexual de imagen andrógina) en donde cada melodía, cada nota y cada palabra del disco funcionan a la perfección con la teatralidad y la ciencia ficción traida a escena por el maestro Bowie.
