This is the best collection of Muddy's work with Chess. Every track on this three cd set is excellent. A great place to start if you've never heard his music.

Just wonderful, eerie, heartfelt blues! It's easy to see why Mr. Johnson was an influence on Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and many others that came after him.

I think this is their best album overall. This is where their sound and songs seemed to REALLY mature. There are no "filler" songs on this one!

My favorite album by the "scruffy" ones from the UK. I just like the overall sound of this one. The highlights here for me are "Love In Vain" - great cover of Robert Johnson and "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

This is an interesting one for me. I didn't like it that much the first time I listened to it. With each repeated listening I like it more and more. It really does have a mystical quality to it. That's what I love about this album.

This is THE album that really got me interested in Mr. Thompson's music. The guitars and vocals are just wonderful. I don't think Linda ever sounded better than on this release.

This is probably the best two album/cd set I've ever heard. Not a bad song in the bunch and still a treat to listen to.

My favorite one by the "whooligans" from the UK. Every song on this one is a classic. I especially like "My Wife", which I think is bass player John's best song.
