It feels as close to a sequel to Blue as they'll make. It follows the formula of Blue almost to a tee. It is such a rush front to back. Summer Elaine And Drunk Dory is the only track that I skip most listens but literally, the rest of it is Weezer at its best.

Very self-aware lyrics commentating on their career up to this point with really catchy rock tunes, also very reminiscent of early days. I think this album would've done wonders more for me if all of the songs were as lyrically poignant as Ain't Got Nobody, Eulogy For A Rock Band, Had it Up to Here, and Back To The Shack. The rest are all pretty fun with Cleopatra and Go Away being the only ones that I don't get super excited to hear. Just wish the rest of the album was as much as a high as my favorites. Still amazing though

Sort of all over the place (i'm sensing a theme here) and It doesn't play in its favor. The first four tracks are all amazing and some of the best the band has ever made. Especially the dark and heavy Can't Knock The Hustle and the insanely moving High As A Kite. After that though each song is very different from each other and they make less and less sense as a whole as it continues. I'm just being honest and The prince who wanted everything are awful but I will at least try to defend the rest of the tracks. Especially Byzantine, I love that track. In the end, when your album isn't concise at all and two of your ten tracks are awful, it doesn't bode well.
