100 Greatest Hard Rock Albums

This is a list of Hard Rock Albums. Although the genre might be vague and there is a lot opf debate of what Hard Rock is, I have chosen to exclude a couple of genres: speed and thrash metal and anything heavier than that (Metallica's Black Album qualifies in), pure Heavy Metal (Juadas Priest, Iron Maiden), but keep Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, most 60s-70s Hard Rock, 80s Hair Rock and even alternative rock albums that seem to be on the limits of Hard Rock such as Stone Temple Pilots' Core, Alice in Chains' Facelift or Pearl Jam's Ten. Other alternative rock albums by artists such as Nirvana, Sonic Youth or Dinosaur Jr just don't seem to belong in this category.
Also, I tried to avoid pure Progressive Rock and allow a couple of albums that could also labelled as Hard Rock such as Rush's Moving Pictures.
In the end is all about enjoying good rock guitar driven music without becoming too extravagant or extra fast and heavy
