Amazing album. Every time I listen to this album I discover some new dimension I didn't hear before which just enhances the sound. Bridged the gap between blues and psychedelic in a really cool, funky way. [First added to this chart: 09/07/2012]

Freakishly good album. The Beatles really hit the bullseye with this rock/early psychedelic masterpiece. This album hits all the right notes at the beginning with one my favourite Beatles song, Taxman and then continues with more amazing tracks and then finishes with an off centre rock piece with violins, which is an instrument not many could make sound good. Blues as good as Hendrix. First time I heard this album, I went, waaaaaaa? How has no one heard this, this is amazing, slide blues with a really up tempo funky feel. [First added to this chart: 09/14/2012]

It's amazing what you can do with just a guitar, drums and vocals. This album is the epiphany of modern rock, as has a great indie/blues sound mixed in with ragged vocals, great song transitions and catchy as hell lyrics. [First added to this chart: 09/12/2012]

Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 85.8/100, a mean average of 84.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.6.

Decent, but a little blues rock focused. One rec I might have would be Eric Clapton's "MTV Unplugged" album. It's actually really good

Really cool chart. I like so many things of it like the inclusion of Funkadelic and so many great blues artists and even at high positions like B.B. King and Freddie King. It's also just great to see Jimi Hendrix on top. I'm definitely going to listen to Fish Out of Water after seeing your chart.
