"To say KGLW are going through a fruitful period at the moment would be an understatement. This year alone they have continued to exceed expectations with their impressive output of high quality music. 'Laminated Denim' continues the trend."  Reply

"I never in a million years thought that I would have a Carly Rae Jepsen record in my Album of the Year watch. The songwriting, production, instrumentation choices, Rufus-collab, all of it is so surprisingly good."  Reply

"Indie post-punk that is complex and seductive but without ever feeling pretentious. I love the overlapping vocals which meld vulnerable and intimate harmonies with overdriven guitars and languid basslines to create a sound that seems to exist in a liminal space between waking and sleeping."  Reply

"(Really unique, insanely creative, album by Iglooghost here. Has opened my eyes to some other new avenues of music listening going forward. I really liked it, and the only thing keeping me from loving it was feeling like the pay offs and peaks weren’t reached very often and the album’s flow was a..."  [+]  Reply

"When you consider the fact it's been eight years, the circumstances surrounding the band and their legacy.. this album needed to be better. Too much of the safe, contemporary radio rock we saw predominantly on Living Things and half of The Hunting Party; a style which doesn't gel with Emily Armst..."  [+]  Reply

"Enjoyable and inoffensive dream pop with a hint of shoegaze. First three tracks are amazing, after that it goes a bit flat. Favourites are Worth It and Dye It Red. A few duds, including Emo Song. Overall liked it, she's an exciting new artist who has also written some great EPs."  Reply

""This album outperforms its predecessor, which felt like dissonant noise. The current sound is more engaging, replete with pleasing melodies and intriguing songs. A nice piece of work."  Reply
