"Another of Nina Simone's brilliant 1960's albums. High priestess of soul, as always with Simone, is another quirky record with excellent songs. Standouts include, don't you pay them no mind, keeper of the flame, and, I hold no grudge. All good stuff." Reply
"When I had a late-night radio show, I could put on Alice's Restaurant, run down the hall to use the bathroom, and be back with plenty of time. Nobody tells a tongue-in-cheek yet politically biting yarn like Arlo. Don't overlook the Motorcycle Song either." Reply
"Good to great songwriting. Formulaic but still good. Some classic originals." Reply

"Possibly the most bizarre album cover ever. Nonetheless, the songs and arrangements are beautiful; when they cover a song they really make it their own." Reply
"I do not know if can be considerated the first Opera Rock; frankly i do not care: it could be compared (...almost...) to Tommy, Pet Sounds, S.F Sorrow or these kind of albums. Unfortunately... toooooo short." Reply
