VH1 is an American cable television channel that was created in 1985. Their list of 100 greatest albums was devised in 2001 from a poll of 500 rock journalists and musicians, including Britney Spears, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Roberta Flack, Art Garfunkel, Wyclef Jean and Carole King.

Great list. Predictable, but each album's worthy in it's own right.
Too much biased to the beatles and 60's and 70's in general. There's many albums from the 80's and 90's as good as them. OK computer should be in the top 10, I know it's 2001 but it had made it's mark instantly. I'm guessing this just isn't voted by the public and nothing but so-called American music experts. Too much American shit that isn't that great.
Pierre0609 would like to see more 90s, 00s, and 10s from a list created in 2001. Typical of his generation. I like this list. Too bad it is over 10 years old so gets no credit in chart scoring.

Not varied enough to my mind. Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson with more than one album each ? C'mon...
