In 1982, I was heavily into synth music, but was beginning to explore a wider rangeof genres. A lot of the music I listened to and bought that year turned out to be crap, but I was on a steep learning curve.

This album suffers from poor production and a lack of John McGeoch, but there are still great songs in there. I love This Poison almost as much as the Perth band that named themselves after it.

I loved the book that came with this album. Lovely pictures and arty writing. This album shifted from the debut album and was less mechanical and jerky.

A girlfriend went to Sweden for their holidays and brought this album back as a souvenir for me. It has versions of Heroes and I'm Waiting for the Man

I'm just a little confused: "In 1982, I was heavily into synth music, but was beginning to explore a wider rangeof genres." - what music were you into in 1981?
..anyway, I hardly know any albums here but all your great comments make me curious to check them out! What do you think of ELO? Maybe you are one of those who think they are too silly, but I think they have made a pretty good album that year!
