From the late 60s up until this year's music I'm most unfamiliar with 87, 88 and 89. Also 90 & 91. Any recommendations of less popular albums during those years? Something badass and experimental would be a plus.

Here are my favorites in each year that you haven't rated or charted:

'87

Substance by New Order

This one isn't rare, but it's essential listening even if you've heard their albums.

'88

Spring Fever! by The Pussywillows

This one is rare.

'89

Deep Listening by Pauline Oliveros, Stu... Panaiotis

This one is somewhere between rare and not rare.

A couple you haven't rated. One of my favorite punk / post-hardcore albums:

Wrong by NoMeansNo

A really great synth / dance pop album:

Thanks! Been meaning to listen to that Blue Nile album since I enjoyed another one of theirs. I'll check out the others as well.

Thanks! Talk Talk are great! Pretty sure I've heard that one once but haven't added it yet. Will have to revisit it for sure. Really like another one of theirs. Your other picks look promising.
