"This is hard to rate because the guitars are fantastic but that's all there is. I don't mean it like it's not enough but occasionally it feels more like a talent show than an album to me. With that said, the guitar playing is inventive and original. The melodies are catchy on each song. There are..."  [+]  Reply

"Honestly, I really think this album surpasses Danzig in every way. It is so undeniably good. Danzig has a lot of tracks that can get old at times, but I could listen to this over and over. Highlights include 777, Her Black Wings, and Tired of Being alive for me. Worth a listen, maybe 9."  Reply

"For some reason I never noticed it before, but this album is a lot like Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden. And with each listen is grows more and more profound. From the poetic lyrics, to the brilliant musicianship that blends jazz and post rock into lush arrangements. It's an album that seems much simp..."  [+]  Reply

"I used to listen regularly to the Grateful Dead, and I especially liked both "Workingman's Dead" and "American Beauty", so it was natural to give the predecessor to these two 1970 albums,"Aoxomoxoa", a chance. I was soon obvious that "Aoxomoxoa" was much in the same vein as its two successors, bu..."  [+]  Reply

"This is where Megadeth starts to go for more hard rock than pure heavy metal, but they do it with mostly awesome success. Dave was at his vocal peak here as well. Train of consequences, Toute le Monde, and reckoning day are among the bands classic songs. The band began a slow decline after this a..."  [+]  Reply

"One of Cornershops strongest, if not the strongest, album. My gripe with it is I do not understand the inclusion of tracks 7,8 and 9 - they seem to be fillers in an album that has 15 tracks - just get rid of those three and you'd have a more consistent album and I'd probably rate it higher than I..."  [+]  Reply
