The singles “Walking at a Downtown Pace”, “Black Widow Spider” and “Homo Sapien” as well as closer “Pulcinella” stand out as excellent album highlights, whilst the remaining 7 tracks are a little underwhelming even though I give the band c..."  [+]  Reply

"I don't think that this album is quite as good or emotional packed as Diary, but it's an absolute classic regardless. In terms of catchy melodies, the band hits their zenith here, probably the first album to listen to if you want to get acclimated with Sunny Day Real Estate."  Reply

"Album Rating: 71.45 (786/11) Viagra Boys (VA - SWE - Apr 25) - Viagr Aboys 25.04.2025 Has its moments and lyrically, it's funny and scathing in equal measures at times. It can get a bit Uppsala frat party on a musical level, and particularly on the trudge to the end after the album's highlight 'M..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the great exits, and one of the great album sides. Side One goes on way too long, but Side Two is perfect. Great live version of the blues standard, "Sitting On Top of the World," followed by the Clapton/Harrison gem, "Badge," followed by two psychedelic masterpieces, "Doing That Scrapyard..."  [+]  Reply

"I don't think there's too much to get here. This is perfect pool party music. It's something that a whole group of people can enjoy without one of them complaining about the music. It's pretty chill for the most part, the girl voice is not only not annoying but is actually above average. The musi..."  [+]  Reply

"A double album is always something very risky... but in my opinion Biffy just managed to create a really amazing record with Opposites... The first CD, "The sand at the core of our bones" having songs with more melancholic lyrics, and the second, "The land at the end of our toes" with more optimi..."  [+]  Reply
