"The first half of, eagle, was great, but overall, I think this is a more consistent record from start to finish. She seems to get better as she gets older, although those Laurel Canyon obsessions still shine brightly, albeit quite beautiful. A very good album." Reply

"Such a shame the incredible bonus track "Sarah" isn't on here, one of my favourite songs of the last decade for sure" Reply
"As straight ahead folk as they ever got. Absolutely lovely stuff. Sit down with a nice malt when everyone is in bed and chuck this on. Anyone into sny sort of folk needs to hear it." Reply
"This albums has great songs by Andrés Calamaro, such as Flaca, Loco, Todo lo Demás and Media Verónica. Some other songs are just OK." Reply

"Decent to good britpop. 5-10 points deducted as my enjoyment is tarnished by part of my brain constantly saying morrisey for the duration of play. Not an entirely original observation I'm sure. Some good songs here though." Reply
"Before Pearl Jam, there was Mother Love Bone. Fronted by flamboyant singer Andrew Wood who died shortly before the scheduled release of "Apple", Mother Love Bone was a part of the local Seattle scene. They had that something extra that led them to be the first local band to sign with a major labe..." [+] Reply
