""Secret Samadhi" has a heavy spiritual and abstract quality to it. "throwing copper" had angst and anger and claws. Samadhi brings shiva, brahma and vishnu along in his ruminations, Americanized of course. It's still alternative rock. The first song i heard (in live form) was "freaks". ("Will you..."  [+]  Reply

"The first Album I ever owned. Received as a Christmas present at the age of 11. Loved it then and love it now. Hadn’t listened it for man years and recently revisited it. In my opinion Madness best ? just ahead of One Step Beyond. Other than Solid Gone I love most of the songs on here. Baggy Trou..."  [+]  Reply

"Following the seminal 'Stoneage Romeos' we all held our collective breath for their next album which would be 'Mars Needs Guitars '. And it’s good, better than good in fact . I place it at 3 in their catalogue behind 'Stoneage ' and 'Blow Your Cool ' On a side note is it possible 'Hayride To Hell..."  [+]  Reply

"Often overlooked classic NWOBHM album. So pleased to have picked up this re-issue on spatter vinyl, to marry with their debut, also on spatter vinyl, just need Denim and Leather now to complete the trio. Title track is a banger, Dallas 1pm a personal favourite, altogether great metal album."  Reply

Living In The Past
Compilation
"This is a double album which is a compilation but not a "best of" per se because it is a combination of great songs, outtakes, live cuts and singles not available on LP so far. As a result it makes for a very strong album. This ranks as a Tull essential "to have" album even though it has some mat..."  [+]  Reply

"The best album of Heroes del Silencio. Best produced would be Senderos de Traicion, but EEDV is a heavier album plenty of extraordinary songs, almost any of them. El Camino del Exceso is its best song but nuestros hombres, flor de loto, bendecida, los placeres de la pobrez, la herida,...all are a..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a pretty underrated album, this album grew on me quickly and there are many tracks here I found to be overlooked such as Liar, Chemical, Everyone Everywhere, Young Offender, etc. The singles are great too. I don't know how people aren't paying attention to this album."  Reply
