"Gang Starr's best album. Has a beautiful spontaneity about it. Guru's best rhymes throughout, and some brilliantly put together songs ('Ex Girl To Next', 'BYS', 'Take It Personal', 'The Place Where We Dwell'). "Mental. Me and a pal were crying with laughter when we first heard this in the 6th form common room. People actually make records like this? It still makes me laugh but it's also an amazing record. Punk funk at its best. Way better than bummed production wise, cale actually did a good job. Crazy ..."  [+]  Reply

"What a surprise, people on this hipster-ass site hate this album. This is one of the most important albums of the 2010s; it contains two important things where the 2010s stand for and she did it before it was a thing: the rap/singing multi-tasking, and breaking gender norms. Her rapping style is ..."  [+]  Reply
