"It is a unique and distinctive album. The band developed its own unique style, characterized by a mixture of post-punk, gothic rock, folk and ambient. They uses a variety of instruments to create a unique soundscape. This album was a commercial success and brought the band international recognition"  [+]  Reply

"Great first half with a very curious and beautifully crafted organic meets processed combination. Unfortunately it flows to a redundant second half where the ideas overloaded the result. I'm guessing he produced himself since this is very common in self produced records."  Reply

""rabbit fur coat" from jenny lewis with the watson twins (that jenny lewis from rilo kiley) is a very understated, yet witty cross-in-cheek album exploring religion, its pursuers and false idols. "rise up with fists!!!" is the early centerpiece telling little synopses tales "Like when you wake up..."  [+]  Reply

"It is probably fair to describe Otis Reddings fourth studio album, "The Soul Album" as one of his lesser known, perhaps largely because the album does not contain any of his greatest classics or hits. Only single was taken from the album, his and Steve Cropper's own "Just One More Day", which in ..."  [+]  Reply

"It's like Nas was made to fit in with these new school beats. I surprisingly enjoyed this a bit. For me, the best version of a sound im not particularly fond of. That being said: Store Run Moments Nobody Features some nice soulful beats and Nas delivers. Hit-boy's production is on point."  Reply

"OK - spoiler alert. This may seem like a strange album for anyone to have as their #1 album of all time ~ except, in my case, this is my one & only album, recorded in the producer's loungeroom. I love this album (& I don't care what anyone else thinks) and I am forever grateful to have had the op..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the greatest progressive albums that doesnt stray from being heavy but rather explores a whole new realm of soundscape. The musicianship, lyricism, and overall feel of this album is exceedingly excellent. This is a near stand alone album for this band with most material breaking 4minutes m..."  [+]  Reply
